Day 01 - Arrive Kolkata
Upon
arrival our representative will meet you at the airport and will assist
for transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 - Kolkata - Patna
Morning leave for sightseeing including Tagore House, Kali Temple,
Victoria Memorial, Mother Teressa House etc. Evening transfer to railway
station to board train for Patna. Overnight on board.
Day 03 - Patna - Nalanda - Rajgir - Bodhgaya (165 kms / 4 hrs drive)
Arrive Patna the morning. Leave for sightseeing visiting Harmandirji and
Patna Museum. Later proceed to Bodhgaya enroute visiting Nalanda and
Rajgir. Nalanda-a great center of Buddhist learning and one of the most
famed university citadels of ancient times. Rajgir-it was once the ancient
capital of the powerful kingdom of Maghada. From the out skirts of Rajgir,
a historic road leads to Gridha - Kuta or vultures peak where the Buddha
preached, here the first Buddhist Council was held after the Lord's
Mahaparinirvana. Upon arrival transfer to hotel.

Day 04 - Bodhgaya
Bodhgaya is the place where the Buddha attained enlightenment and which
is one of the most sacred pilgrimage places for the Buddhist. Visit Bodhi
Tree, Niranjana River and various Monasteries and Buddhist temples.
Overnight at Hotel
Day 05 - Bodhgaya - Varanasi
Morning
leave Bodhgaya for Varanasi (247 kms. / 6 hrs.) by Surface. Later,
excursion to Sarnath the place Lord Buddha gave his first sermon.
Overnight in Varanasi.
Day 06 - Varanasi
Early morning boat ride on the River Ganges to see the sun rise and the
bathing ghats of an ancient Hindu city. Full day sightseeing of the city
visiting Bharat Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Vishwanath Temple,
Benaras Hindu University etc. Evening visit River Front to see "Ganga
Aarti." Overnight in hotel.
Day 07 - Varanasi - Kushinagar
Morning leave Varanasi for Kushinagar (250 kms. / 7 hrs. drive), the
place where Buddha entered perfect tranquility. Afternoon visit
Mahaparinirvana Temple & Ramabhar Stupa. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 - Kushinagar - Lumbini
Morning drive to Lumbini by surface (170 kms. / 4 hrs.). Sightseeing of
Lumbini where the Lord Buddha was born. Visit the pillar raised by Emperor
Ashok, in the twenty first year after his coronation at the birthplace.
Day 09 - Lumbini - Sravasti - Train to Agra
Morning proceed to Sravasti ( 190 kms / 5 hrs), visit Sravasti
(Sahet-Mahet) capital of the ancient kingdom of Kosala, an active centre
for Buddhism. Lord Buddha spent 24 rainy seasons here. Evening board train
for Agra from Gonda Railway station.
Day 10 - DAgra - Delhi
Arrive Agra in the morning. Visit one of the seven wonders of the world,
the Taj Mahal and then Red Fort. Proceed to Delhi (203 kms / 4 hrs).
Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 - Delhi / Out
Full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. Evening transfer to airport to
connect flight for onward destination.
