Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
Arrive
Delhi. Meeting & Greeting at airport. Transfer to hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 02 - Delhi - Guwahati - Kaziranga 217 kms / 4 ½ hrs
After breakfast transfer to airport to connect flight for Guwahati. On
arrival transfer by road to Kaziranga which is approx 217 Kms. 4 ½
hrs. drive. On arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03 - Kaziranga
This morning take an elephant ride and safari in the jungle, with an
afternoon visit to a tea garden, returning to your hotel for the night.
Day 04 - Kaziranga - Excursion to Jorhat 88 kms / 2 ½ hrs.
A full day's excursion to Jorhat to visit the Lakhiharie tea estate
factory and the Neelbarie seed farm, with lunch at the tea planters
Gymkhana club. You will visit the Tocklai Tea Research Station after
lunch. Later you will return to Kaziranga to see the evening tea pluckers
tribal dance performed at Wild Grass.

Day 05 - Kaziranga - Guwahati
This morning you will depart for the drive back to Guwahati and on
arrival visit the tea warehouse and Placock Island in the Brahmaputra.
Day 06 - Guwahati
Your morning is taken up with a visit to the Kamakhya Temple and the Tea
auction centre. You will have the whole afternoon at your leisure to buy
tea, silk or other interesting items.
Day 07 - Guwahati - Bagdogra - Darjeeling
Late
morning depart by road to Guwahati airport for the flight to Bagdogra and
on arrival transfer by road to Darjeeling (96 kms / 3 hrs). Check into
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08 - Darjeeling
This morning you depart on an excursion to Tiger Hill and the Ghoom
Monastery, followed by a city tour. The afternoon is spent at the Tukver
Tea Estate which produces normal orthodox tea.
Day 09 - Darjeeling
Today you will spend a full day at the Seeyok Tea Estate, where you will
see bio-organic tea.
Day 10 - Darjeeling - Gangtok 97 kms / 4 hrs
This morning you will travel by road to Gangtok, with an enroute visit to
the Temi Tea Estate in Sikkim where you will see the processing of
orthodox tea. You arrive at your hotel late afternoon, where you will have
the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 11 - Gangtok
The morning is taken up with a visit to the Rhumtek monastery. Gangtok is
a spawling town, it possesses fine mountain views and in the afternoon you
will have a chance to experience this. You will return to your hotel for
an evening at leisure.
Day 12 - Gangtok - Kalimpong 75 Kms. 3 ½ hrs. drive
This morning we depart by road for the drive to Kalimpong, when on
arrival you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day at
leisure to explore the surroundings.
On arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay. Rest of the day at
leisure.
Day 13 - Kalimpong
You drive the 3 hours to Siliguri, where after checking into your hotel,
the afternoon is spent on a visit to the Gayaganga tea estate to see the
manufacture of C.T.C. tea. You later return to your hotel for an evening
at your leisure.
Day 14 - Kalimpong - Bagdogra - Calcutta
This morning you drive back to Bagdogra airport to catch the flight to
Delhi, where on arrival you will be transferred to hotel. Evening transfer
to the international airport for your onward flight.
