Morning leave Bodhgaya for Varanasi (247 kms. / 6 hrs.) by Surface. Later, excursion to Sarnath the place Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Overnight in Varanasi.
Early morning boat ride on the River Ganges to see the sun rise and the bathing ghats of an ancient Hindu city. Full day sightseeing of the city visiting Bharat Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Vishwanath Temple, Benaras Hindu University etc. Evening visit River Front to see "Ganga Aarti." Overnight in hotel.
Morning leave Varanasi for Kushinagar (250 kms. / 7 hrs. drive), the place where Buddha entered perfect tranquility. Afternoon visit Mahaparinirvana Temple & Ramabhar Stupa. Overnight at hotel.
Morning drive to Lumbini by surface (170 kms. / 4 hrs.). Sightseeing of Lumbini where the Lord Buddha was born. Visit the pillar raised by Emperor Ashok, in the twenty first year after his coronation at the birthplace.
Morning proceed to Sravasti ( 190 kms / 5 hrs), visit Sravasti (Sahet-Mahet) capital of the ancient kingdom of Kosala, an active centre for Buddhism. Lord Buddha spent 24 rainy seasons here. Evening board train for Agra from Gonda Railway station.
Arrive Agra in the morning. Visit one of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal and then Red Fort. Proceed to Delhi (203 kms / 4 hrs). Overnight at hotel.
Full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. Evening transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
