Morning is free for game viewing in Ranthambore. Later drive to Bharatpur (220 km / 5 hrs.). Upon arrival in Bharatpur, transfer to hotel. Bharatpur has the best known and most popular bird sanctuary called The Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. It features large numbers of breeding water-birds and thousands of migrating birds from Siberia, including Herons, Storks, Cranes and Geese. Evening is free to walk in the bird sanctuary. Overnight in Bharatpur.
In the morning, take a cycle rickshaw ride to view the chirping birds in Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary in Bharatpur. Later drive to Agra (51 km / 1 hr). While driving towards Agra, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the old Mughal capital of Akbar still in excellent condition. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight in Agra.
In the morning, begin a visit towards the epitome of Indian architectural brilliance, Taj Mahal and the center of Mughal power at Red Fort. In the noon, transfer to railway station and board connecting train towards Umaria near Bandavgarh. Overnight on board.
Transfer from Umaria Railway station to Bandavgarh. Located on the 32 of Vindhya Hills, this densely forested 128 sq km national park is known for highest concentration of tigers in India. Also, the park abounds in Wild Boar, Sloth Bear, Tiger and Leopards. The park is also known to accommodate endangered animals like Chital (Spotted Deer), Sambar, Barking Deer, Nilgai (Blue Bull), Chinkara, Chowsingha (Four Horned Antelope), Gaur (the world's largest Oxen) and is rich in bird life. Check in to your lodge. Afternoon concentrate on game viewing. Overnight stay in Bandhavgarh.
Dedicate another morning towards game viewing in Bandhavgarh. Later depart for Kanha (250 km / 6 hrs). Kanha is known as the “Tiger Land” which supports 22 different mammals. It has an area of 370 square miles featuring species like Tiger, Leopard, Barasingha, Gaur, Sambar, Chausingha, Nilgai, Sloth Bears, Barking Deer, Indian Roller to name just a few! On arrival, check in to jungle lodge. Overnight in Kanha.
Morning and afternoon continue the game viewing. Return to the lodge after an exciting wild adventure in Kanha. Overnight stay.
In late morning, check out Kanha towards Jabalpur Railway station (165 km / 4 hrs). Board train # 22181 JBL NZM Express. A - C 2-tier sleeper for a journey to Delhi. Overnight on board.
Arrive Delhi at 05:20 hrs. Transfer from railway station to hotel. Dedicate this day towards discovery of Old Delhi including a visit to Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Chandni Chowk. Overnight at hotel.
Gear up the morning towards discovery of New Delhi including a visit to India Gate, a 42 meter stone archway memorial. Drive past the President's House & Parliament House is another attraction of the day. Also visit Humayun's Tomb, a Mughal memorial tomb and Qutab Minar.
