Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
Meeting
and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight stay..
Day 02 - In Delhi
Morning, sightseeing of Old Delhi, visiting the magnificent Red Fort, Raj
Ghat and Jama Masjid. Drive past Chandni Chowk. Afternoon sightseeing of
New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb - the mausoleum of Emperor
Humayun, imposing modem Lakshmi Narayan temple and drive past the India
Gate, Parliament House and the Secretariat buildings. Overnight stay at
the hotel.
Day 03 - Delhi-Jaipur 252 kms. / Approx. 5 hrs. drive
Today, drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest of the
time free. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04 - In Jaipur
Morning, visit Amber Fort. Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani fort
palace. A major attraction at Amber is the elephant ride all the way up to
the fort entrance. Afternoon sightseeing tour of city, visiting Maharaja's
City Palace. Later, visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone
and marble crafted observatory in the world. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 - Jaipur -Agra via Fatehpur Sikri 232 kms. / Approx. 5 hrs.
drive
Leave Jaipur for Agra en- route visiting Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor
Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water.
Evening free to visit local market. On arrival, check in at the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06 - In Agra
Morning
sightseeing tour of city visiting Taj Mahal built by Mughul Emperor Shah
Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal
remains. Later, visit Agra Fort with magnificent halls of private and
public audiences and other palaces. Afternoon excursion to Akbar's Tomb at
Sikandra, located in a large walled garden. Overnight stay at the hotel.
(Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays)
Day 07 - Agra - Jhansi - Orchha - Khajuraho
Morning transfer to Railway Station to connect Train # 2002 Bhopal
Shatabdi Express dep. 08:12 hrs. / arr. 10:38 hrs. Drive to Khajuraho
enroute visiting Orchha Temples. On arrival transfer to hotel. Khajuraho
was Capital of Chandela rulers who ruled between 9th and 13th centuries.
Today, Khajuraho has no more than 22 temples but enough to show the world
its former glory. Later visit the Western Group of Temples, most important
being the Kandariya Mahadeo Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Also see the
Chitragupta or Bharat Ji Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08 - Khajuraho -Varanasi By Air
Morning sightseeing tour of Eastern Group of Temples including the
Ghantai Temple, Vamana Temple, Javari Temple. Transfer to airport in time
for flight to Varanasi. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to
hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 09 - In Varanasi
Early morning boat cruise on river Ganges. A boat ride along the Ghats is
an unforgettable experience. See the bathing and cremation sites. Later,
visit the Vishwanath temple, also called the golden temple because of the
gold-plating on its roof. Return to hotel. Later, proceed for half day
sightseeing tour of city situated on the banks of the Ganges. Visit some
of the important temples. Bharat Mata Mandir, Durga Temple. Drive past the
Tulsi Manas Temple, drive through the Banaras Hindu University. Afternoon
excursion to Sarnath, 10 kms away from Varanasi is the fabled place, which
bears testimony to its great past where Lord Buddha delivered his first
sermon to his disciples, expounding the principles of Buddhism. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 10 - Varanasi-Kathmandu By Air
Transfer
to airport in time for flight to Kathmandu. Meeting and assistance on
arrival and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city sightseeing tour visiting
Mahadev and Parvati Temple, Machhender Bahl, Temple House of Kumari, the
vestal virgin or the living goddess. Later, visit Swyambhunath, a
2,500-year old site. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11 - In Kathmandu
Morning half day excursion to Patan. Visit the old Newar City, the
historic Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, the sky piercing temple of Teleju
and the statue of Yogendra Malla. Afternoon free. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 12 - In Kathmandu
Morning excursion to Bhadgaon, Bodhnath and Pashupatinath. Bhadgaon
-visit the ancient Gateway, Durbar Square, the Royal Residential Quarter
of Bhupendra Malia, the famous five-storeyed temple of Nytapole in
pagoda-style and other temples. Later, visit Bodhnath, the 2,500- year old
Buddhist Stupa. Also visit Pashupatinath where Shiva is worshipped in the
form of lingam. Afternoon free. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 13 - Kathmandu / Out
Transfer to airport in time to connect onward destination flight.
