Day 01 - Bangalore.
Arrive
Bangalore. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Bangalore.
Day 02 - Bangalore - Mysore.
Morning city tour of Bangalore visiting the Bull Temple, Tipu Sultan's
Palace and the Vidhan Soudha. Afternoon drive to Mysore, which is 140 kms.
& approx. 04 hrs. drive. Overnight in Mysore.
Day 03 - Mysore.
Sightseeing tour of Mysore visiting the Maharaja's Palace, the Chama
Rajendra Art Gallery in Jagan Mohana Palace, the Government Silk Factory &
Saint Philomena's Church. Also visit the Brindavan Gardens. Overnight in
Mysore.
Day 04 - Mysore - Ooty.
Leave Mysore for Ooty, which is 158 kms. & approx. 05 hrs. drive.
Afternoon free. Overnight in Ooty.
Day 05 - Ooty.
After breakfast sightseeing tour visiting the Botanical Gardens. Also
visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri mountains.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06 - Ooty - Cochin.
Drive to Cochin, which is 281 kms. & aprrox. 08 hrs. drive. Overnight
in Cochin.
Day 07 - Cochin
Morning city tour of Cochin visiting the Jewish Syngogue, the
Mattancherry Palace and the Cantilevered Chinese Fishing Nets in the
backwaters around Cochin. Evening enjoy Kathkali dance performance in a
hall. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 - Cochin-Periyar.
Morning drive to Periyar which is 175 kms. & approx. 04 hrs. drive.
Afternoon boat ride on Lake Periyar, Especially to watch the herds of wild
Elephants, other Funa include the Niligiri Langure and Lion - tailed
macaque. Overnight in Periyar.
Day 09 - Periyar-Kumarakom
Morning visit a spice plantation. Afternoon drive to Kumarakom (130 kms /
3 hrs). Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 - Kumarakom-Board Houseboat
Morning visit Kumarakom Bird sanctuary which is famous for migratory
birds. Afternoon board houseboat from Kumarakom Jetty. Overnight on board
Day 11 - Alleppey-Cochin Airport
Disembark at Alleppey in the morning. Drive to Cochin airport 90 kms (2
hrs) to connect flight for onward destination.
