Day 1 - Arrive Cochin
Arrive
Cochin by air or train and transfer to Hotel. Afternoon City sight seeing
visiting Fort Cochin, Mattancherry Palace, Synagogue, St. Francis Church,
Santa Cruz Cathedral, Chinese Fishing Nets. Evening enjoy Kathakali dance
performance. O/N at Hotel.
Day 2 - Cochin - Munnar
After Breakfast drive to Munnar (130 kms / 4 hrs) which is major centre
of Kerala's tea industry. Afternoon sight seeing visiting Tea factory,
Christ Church, Mount Carmel Church, Eravikulam National Park and
Mattupetty Dam. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3 - Munnar - Thekkady
After breakfast drive to Thekkadi (125 kms 4 hrs) - which is set on an
attractive Periyar lake Side. Afternoon Sight Seeing and boat on the lake
of Periyar. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4 - Thekkady - Kumarakom
Morning visit a spice plantation. Afternoon drive to Kumarakom (130 kms /
3 hrs). Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 - Kumarakom - Houseboat
Morning visit Kumarakom Bord sanctuary. By noon board houseboat from
Kumarakom Jetty. This moving House will take you through the narrow Canal
(Backwaters) of Vembanad Lake. All meals will be provided in the Boat.
Overnight on Houseboat.
Day 6 - Houseboat - Alleppey - Kovalam
Disembark houseboat at 10:00 hrs at Alleppey and drive to Kovalam (175
kms / 4 hrs). Check into hotel. Evening free for leisure at beach.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 - Kovalam - Excursion to Kanyakumari
Morning excursion to Kanyakumari (68 kms / 1 ½ hrs). Enroute
visit Padmanabhapuram palace which is famous for its wood works. In
Kanyakumari visit Kanyakumari Temple, Gandhi Memorial, Vivekananda
Memorial. Evening visit spectacular sunset and drive back to Kovalma
hotel.
Day 8 - Kovalam - Excursion to Trivandrum (14 kms)
Morning visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Zoological Park, Napier Museum, Sri
Chitra Art Gallery, Science & Technology Museum, Veli Lagoon,
Shanmugham Beach, Aruvikkara Dam, Neyyar Dam etc. Evening free for leisure
at beach.,
Day 9 - Kovalam - Trivandrum Airport - Onward destination
Morning excursion to Kanyakumari (68 kms / 1 ½ hrs). Enroute
visit Padmanabhapuram palace which is famous for its wood works. In
Kanyakumari visit Kanyakumari Temple, Gandhi Memorial, Vivekananda
Memorial. Evening visit spectacular sunset and drive back to Kovalma
hotel.
