Day 1 - Arrive Chennai
Meeting
and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Afternoon excursion to
Mahabalipuram, built by the Pallava rulers in the seventh century, the
complex comprises of 14 cave-temples, nine monolithic "Rathas",
three stone temples and two relief sculptured rock panels. Overnight stay
at hotel.
Day 02 - Chennai-Hyderabad by Air
Morning excursion to Kanchipuram, located 64 kms from Chennai, one of
Hinduism's seven most sacred cities where you visit the temple complex.
Transfer to airport in time for flight to Hyderabad. Meeting and
assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 - In Hyderabad
0Morning sightseeing tour of city visiting Charminar and Salarjung Museum.
Afternoon excursion to 13th century Golconda Fort, once famed for its
diamond mines. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04 - Hyderabad-Bangalore by Air
Transfer to airport in time for flight to Bangalore. Meeting and
assistance on arrival and transfer to Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of
Bangalore visiting the Lal Bagh, Bull Temple and drive past the Government
Secretariat, Vidhan Soudha (Legislature building) and Cubbon Park.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05 - Bangalore-Hassan (192 kms. Approximately 4-5 hrs)
Leave Bangalore by car for Hassan en-route visiting Shravanbelagola, view
the largest statue of Bahubali, a Jain saint. On arrival, check in at
hotel. Afternoon visit famous 12th century temples of Belur and Halebid,
one of the finest specimens of Hoysala architecture. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 6 - Hassan-Mysore (115 kms. Approximately 3 hrs)
Leave
Hassan by car for Mysore en-route visiting Srirangapatnam, 16 Kms before
Mysore. Among the many fort buildings still intact are Tipu's airy summer
palace and his tomb at the Darya Daulat Bagh (Garden). The celebrated Sri
Ranganatha Temple is also here. On arrival, check in at hotel. Afternoon
sightseeing tour of city visiting the palace of the Maharaja built in
1911-12. Visit the Art Gallery, drive upto Chamundi hill to see
Chamundeshwari Temple and on way back, see the Nandi Bull. Overnight stay
at the hotel.
Day 7 - Mysore-Ooty (158 kms. Approximately 4 hrs)
Leave Mysore by car for Ooty. On arrival, check in at hotel. Afternoon
sightseeing tour visiting the Botanical Gardens. Also visit Doddabetta
Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri mountains. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 08 - Ooty -Cochin (280 kms. Approximately 7-8 hrs)
Leave Ooty by car for Cochin. On arrival, check in at hotel. Rest of the
time free. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 09 - Cochin
Morning sightseeing tour of city visiting the Dutch Palace, the Jewish
Synagogue (closed on Fridays) and Chinese Fishing Nets. Afternoon free for
leisure. Evening watch Kathkali Dance show. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 - Cochin - Alleppey - Houseboat
Morning drive to Alleppey (70 kms / 1 ½ hrs) and board house boat.
You can enjoy natural beauty of the place and daily village activities.
All meals will be served on board. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 11 - Kumarakom - Periyar (185 kms. Approximately 4 hrs.)
Drive to Periyar (135 kms / 4 hrs). Afternoon boat ride on Lake Periyar
to view wildlife. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 - Periyar-Madurai (142 kms. Approximately 4 hrs)
Morning visit spice plantations. Leave Periyar for Madurai. On arrival,
check in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of city visiting Tirrumalai
Nayak Palace, Thirumohur and Meenakshi Temple. Evening, watch the prayer
ceremony at Meenakshi Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 13 - Madurai- Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) - 142 kms. Approximately 3
hrs 
Leave
Madurai by car / coach for Tiruchirappalli (Trichy). On arrival, check in
at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of city Rock fort Temple. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 14 - In Trichy
Full day excursion to Tanjore by car visiting Brihadeeshwara Temple, the
old town, the Raja Museum and the Art gallery. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 15 - Trichy-Chennai by Air
Transfer to airport in time for flight to Chennai. On arrival, transfer
to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of city, visiting Fort St. George, St
Mary's Church, Indo Saracenic High Court building, Kapaleeswarar temple
and San Thome Cathedral. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 16 - Leave Chennai
Transfer to airport in time for flight to onward destination.
