Day 1 - Arrive Chennai
Meeting
and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 02 - Chennai-Excursion to Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram
Morning excursion to Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram. Kanchipuram,
located 64 kms from Chennai, one of Hinduism's seven most sacred cities
where you visit the temple complex. It is also famous for its temples and
silk works. Proceed to Mahabalipuram (65 kms) built by the Pallava rulers
in the seventh century, the complex comprises of 14 cave-temples, nine
monolithic "Rathas", three stone temples and two relief
sculptured rock panels. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 - Chennai-Hyderabad by overnight train
Morning visit Fort St. George & St. Mary's Church, Gandhi Mandapam,
High Court, Anna Square, Kapaleeswara Temple, Light House, Marina Beach &
Aquarium, Parthasarathy Temple, San Thom Cathedral, Snake Park,
Theosophical Society, Valluvar Kottam, Ripon Buildings and War Memorial
Fort Museum, Govt. Museum & Art Gallery. Evening board train# 2759
Charminar Express dep. 18:10 hrs. Overnight on board.
Day 04 - In Hyderabad
Arrive Hyderabad at 08:00 hrs. Check into hotel. Afternoon sightseeing
tour of city visiting Charminar and Salarjung Museum.. Overnight stay at
the hotel.

Day 05 - Hyderabad-Bangalore by overnight train
Morning excursion to 13th century Golconda Fort, once famed for its
diamond mines. Evening board train # 2785 Bangalore Express dep. 19:05
hrs. Overnight on board.
Day 6 - Bangalore
Arrive
Bangalore at 06:05 hrs. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of
Bangalore visiting the Lal Bagh, Bull Temple and drive past the Government
Secretariat, Vidhan Soudha (Legislature building) and Cubbon Park.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 - Bangalore-Hassan (192 kms. Approximately 4-5 hrs)
Leave Bangalore by car for Hassan en-route visiting Shravanbelagola, view
the largest statue of Bahubali, a Jain saint. On arrival, check in at
hotel. Afternoon visit famous 12th century temples of Belur and Halebid,
one of the finest specimens of Hoysala architecture. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 08 - Hassan-Mysore (115 kms. Approximately 3 hrs)
Leave Hassan by car for Mysore en-route visiting Srirangapatnam, 16 Kms
before Mysore. Among the many fort buildings still intact are Tipu's airy
summer palace and his tomb at the Darya Daulat Bagh (Garden). The
celebrated Sri Ranganatha Temple is also here. On arrival, check in at
hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of city visiting the palace of the
Maharaja built in 1911-12. Visit the Art Gallery, drive upto Chamundi hill
to see Chamundeshwari Temple and on way back, see the Nandi Bull.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09 - Mysore-Ooty (158 kms. Approximately 4 hrs)
Leave Mysore by car for Ooty. On arrival, check in at hotel. Afternoon
sightseeing tour visiting the Botanical Gardens. Also visit Doddabetta
Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri mountains. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 10 - Ooty -Cochin (280 kms. Approximately 7-8 hrs)
Leave Ooty by car for Cochin. On arrival, check in at hotel. Rest of the
time free. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11 - Cochin
Morning sightseeing tour of city visiting the Dutch Palace, the Jewish
Synagogue (closed on Fridays) and Chinese Fishing Nets. Afternoon free for
leisure. Evening watch Kathakali Dance show. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 - Cochin - Alleppey - Houseboat
Morning drive to Alleppey (70 kms / 1 ½ hrs) and board house
boat. You can enjoy natural beauty of the place and daily village
activities. All meals will be served on board. Overnight on board.
Day 13 - Kumarakom - Periyar (135 kms. Approximately 4 hrs.)
Disembark at Kumarakom. Visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which is famous
for migratory birds. Later drive to Periyar (135 kms / 4 hrs). Overnight
at hotel.
Day 14 - Periyar-Madurai (142 kms. Approximately 4 hrs)
Morning boat ride on Lake Periyar to view wildlife. Afternoon visit spice
plantations. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15 - Periyar-Madurai (142 kms. Approximately 4 hrs)
Morning drive to Madurai. On arrival, check in at hotel. Afternoon
sightseeing tour of city visiting Tirrumalai Nayak Palace, Thirumohur and
Meenakshi Temple. Evening, watch the prayer ceremony at Meenakshi Temple.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day
16 - Madurai- Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) - 142 kms. Approximately 3 hrs
Leave to Tiruchirappalli (Trichy). On arrival, check in at hotel. Visit
Rock Fort Temple and other prominent temples.

Day 17 - Trichy - Thanjavur Overnight train to
Chennai
Full day excursion to Tanjore by car visiting Brihadeeshwara Temple, the
old town, the Raja Museum and the Art gallery. Later connect train # 6178
Rockfort Express dep. 20:30 hrs. Overnight on board.
Day 18 - Chennai
Arrive Chennai at 05:10 hrs. On arrival, transfer to airport for flight
back to home.
