Day
01 : Arrive Bangalore
Meeting & greeting at airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight in
Bangalore.
Day 02 : Bangalore - Mysore
Morning visit Aquarium, Bull Temple, Fort & Tippu's Palace, Ulsoor
Lake, Lal Bagh, Venkatappa Art Gallery, Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha,
Vishveswaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, Venkatappa Art
Gallery etc. Afternoon drive to Mysore (143 kms / 3 hrs) enroute visit Sri
Rangapatnam. Check into hotel.
Day 03 : Mysore
Full day sightseeing tour visiting Mysore Palace, St. Philomena's Church,
Shri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery, Mysore Zoo, Chamundeshwari Temple,
Krishna Raja Sagar Dam, Vrindavan Garden, Cauvery Fishing Camp etc..
Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Mysore - Ooty
Morning drive to Ooty which is 157 kms. & 4 hrs. drive. Afternoon
free to explore the hill station. Overnight in Ooty.
Day 05 : In Ooty
Full day Sightseeing tour of Ooty visiting the Botanical Gardens,
Doddarbeta Park, the highest peak from where a lovely view of Ooty can be
seen. Other picturesque spots in the vicinity are Mukurti Peak, the Pykara
Dam & Reservoir, Wenlock downs, Kalhatti Falls & Elk Hill.
Overnight in Ooty.
Day 06 : Ooty - Kodikanal
Early morning drive for Kodaikanal which is about 268 kms / 7 hrs. Upon
arrival check into hotel.
Day 07 : In Kodaikanal - Overnight train to Chennai
Sightseeing tour around Kodaikanal visiting the Dolphin's nose, Perumal
Peak, Bear Shola, Silver Cascade and Fairy fally. Later transfer to
railway station to board train # 2638 Pandian Express dep. 21:20 hrs.
Overnight on board.
Day 08 : Chennai / Out
Arrive Chennai at 05:45 hrs. Leave for sightseeing of the city visiting
Fort St. George & St. Mary's Church, Gandhi Mandapam, High Court, Anna
Square, Kapaleeswara Temple, Light House, Marina Beach & Aquarium,
Parthasarathy Temple, San Thom Cathedral, Snake Park, Theosophical
Society, Valluvar Kottam, Ripon Buildings and War Memorial Fort Museum,
Govt. Museum & Art Gallery etc.
