Day 01 - Delhi
Arrive
Delhi. Meeting & Greetings at the airport. Transfer to Hotel.
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02 - Delhi - Shimla
Morning Transfer to Railway station to connect train # 2011 Kalka
Shatabdi dep. 07:40 hrs / arrive Kalka at 12:00 hrs. Connect Train # 255
Himalayan Queen dep. 12:10 hrs / arr. Shimla at 17:20 hrs. Transfer to
hotel. Rest day free for leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 - In Shimla
After breakfast sightseeing tour of Shimla includes The State Museum,
Jakho Hills, The Christ Church. Evening is free at Mall Road. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 04 - In Shimla
Full day excursion to Chail & Kufri. Overnight in Shimla. After
breakfast full day excursion to Kufri & Chail - 15 kms from the
Shimla, Kufri is a cozy little hill station. There are a number of picnic
spots, hiking and trekking trails in and around Kufri. Horse and Yak ride
is a major attraction in Kufri. Skiing is the favourite sport as the
mountain slopes serve as an ideal skiing spot for one and all in winters.
Day 05 - Shimla - Delhi
Morning free for leisure. Afternoon drive to Kalka (about 2 ½ hrs)
and connect train # 2012 Kalka Shatabid dep. 17:30 hrs. / arr. New Delhi
at 21:40 hrs. On arrival, transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 06 - Leave Delhi
Morning tour of Old Delhi. It is a 17th century walled city with its
splendid gates, narrow alleys, the enormous Bazaar. Visit Red Fort, Jama
Masjid and Raj Ghat. Afternoon tour of New Delhi with wide tree lined
avenues, parks and fountains surroundings the imposing government and
state Buildings. Visit Humayun's Tomb, an observatory called Jantar
Mantar, Qutab Minar, India Gate and President House. Later in the evening
transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
