Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Humayun TombDepart Arrive tonight in India's bustling capital city of Delhi, where you are greeted with a traditional Indian welcome and escorted to Hotel.

Day 02 : New and Old Delhi Sightseeing
After a leisurely morning, embark on a tour of New Delhi. Drive along Rajpath, the capital's broadest avenue, to view Parliament House, the President's House, India Gate. Visit the Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla Mandir, a colorful and modern Hindu temple. Afternoon tour of Old Delhi. Among your stops are the Red Fort, built by Shah Jahan Raj Ghat -a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi; Ashoka Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar.

Day 03 : Agra
Morning drive to Agra (200 kms / 4 kms), en route stopping at Sikandra, to visit the tomb of Emperor Akbar. Upon arrival, check in at Hotel. Afternoon, enjoy a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, the magnificent monument to love. Later, tour the exquisite 16th Century Agra Fort.

Day 04 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
Morning proceed to the abandoned and nearly intact Mughal City of Fatehpur Sikri (44 kms / 1 hr), a masterpiece of Muslim and Hindu architecture. Continue overland to Jaipur (188 kms / 3 hrs), the capital city of Rajasthan, also known as the "Pink City." Upon arrival, check in at hotel.

Day 05 : Amber Fort Excursion & Jaipur Sightseeing
Today, you are transported back in time, riding royally atop elegantly draped and painted elephants, up to the mountain fortress-palace of Amber. Later, enjoy a tour of Jaipur City, visiting Hawa Mahal or "Palace of Winds," City Palace and the ancient observatory. Evening you may visit the colourful local markets. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Jaipur - Pushkar
Amber Fort in JaipurMorning drive to Pushkar (130 kms / 2 hrs). Enroute visit Dargarh Sharif at Ajmer. Check into hotel Afternoon visit Pushkar Lake and famous temples. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 : Pushkar - Ranakpur
This morning drive to Ranakpur (250 kms / 6 hrs). Upon arrival you are transferred to Hotel. Afternoon visit the famous Ranakpur Jain Temples, the beautifully sculpted 15th century Jain Temples of Ranakpur. The intricately carved white marble is so well preserved. The temple dedicated to the Sun God is famed for its erotic sculpture. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Ranakpur - Udaipur
Morning drive to Udaipur (90 kms / 2 hrs). Udaipur is famous "City of Lakes," known as one of the most picturesque and romantic cities of India and maybe the world. Visit City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari or Garden of Maids; and the folklore museum where you can see a presentation of the string puppets typical to this area. Afternoon visit Eklingji and Nagda Temples.

Day 09 : Udaipur - Mumbai (Bombay)
Morning connect flight for Mumbai. Check into hotel. Your afternoon tour of Mumbai includes the British-built arch "Gateway of India," Mumbai's landmark; the Hanging Gardens and the Malabar Hill where Mumbai's rich and famous live; the Prince of Wales Museum, Dhobi Ghat, Marine Drive, the Gandhi Memorial Museum and Jain Temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Mumbai (Bombay) - Cochin
Morning cruise across Mumbai harbour to the Elephanta Island (9 kms) to see huge rock cut temple of Lord Shiva. Afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight to Cochin in the state of Kerala, known for its well-balanced ecosystem. Check into hotel.

Day 11 : Cochin
Morning visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Bolghatty, Chinese Fishing Nets, Santacruz Cathedral (Basilica) etc. Evening watch Kathakali dance performance. Check in at hotel.

Day 12 : Kumarakom
kerala backwaterMorning depart for Kumarakom (65 kms / 2 hrs), experiencing the rich culture and active lifestyle that has evolved over the centuries in and around the backwaters and waterways that thread this region. Afternoon visit Kumrakom Bird Sanctuary.

Day 13 : Backwaters Cruise
Morning free for leisure or you can explore the backwaters by own. Later board houseboat from Kumarakom Jetty. Enjoy boat ride through the Backwaters, a series of canals and lagoons snaking their way through several tiny villages and tropical vegetation. Not only do the backwaters of Kerala link the state together, they are an integral element in maintaining ecological balance and creating harmony with nature. Overnight on board.

Day 14 : Alleppey - Cochin Chennai (Madras)
Disembark at Alleppey and proceed to Cochin airport in time to connect to your flight for Chennai (formerly known as Madras), the fourth largest city in India. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to hotel. Your afternoon is at leisure.

Day 15 : Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram Excursion
Today enjoy an excursion to Kanchipuram (55 kms / 1 & 1/2 hrs), one of the seven sacred cities of India, which served as a capital for several dynasties. Visit three of the best temples-Kailasanatha and Ekambareshwara, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and Vaikuntaperumal dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Continue your excursion to the ancient Pallavan port of Mamallapuram, stopping for lunch at a seaside resort. Later visit the seventh century rock hewn monuments. The shore temple, the only surviving one of seven, is a unique example of a temple built of rock quarried elsewhere and carried to shore.

Day 16 :Chennai (Madras) Sightseeing - Depart Chennai
Morning tour of Chennai takes you to Victoria Art Gallery, Bronze Gallery and Chennai Museum. The Fort St. George, San Thome Cathedral and Kapaleeswarar Temple complete your visit. Later transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
