Proceed in the morning towards the abandoned Mughal City of Fatehpur Sikri (44 Kms / 1 hr). This is a masterpiece of Muslim and Hindu architecture, intact in good condition. Continue overland journey to Jaipur (188 Kms / 3 hrs). This is the capital city of Rajasthan, branded as "pink city". Upon arrival, check in-to hotel for overnight.
After breakfast, begin a royal excursion towards Amber Fort. This is like travelling back in time, that too in a royal style atop the elegant elephants. The steep hillock fortress at Amber provides a magnificent foundation to the Jaipur city tour. After this, continue the discovery of Jaipur via a visit to Hawa Mahal or "Palace of Winds," City Palace and the ancient observatory. Drive to Ranakpur (250 Kms / 6 hrs) this morning. Upon arrival, transfer to Hotel. Ranakpur is known for its intricate marble Jain Temples that are built at par with the famous Dilwara Temples. Dominated by the great Adinath Temple, this is one of the five great places of the Jain faith, Afternoon visit the famous 15th century Ranakpur Jain Temples. In the morning, drive to Udaipur (90 Kms / 2 hrs). This city is pictured for its love affair with luxury since its inception and is known for its surreal palaces and lakes. Begin the luxurious affair with Udaipur via City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari or Garden of Maids; and Udaipur folk museum where you can see the string puppets performance typical to this area. In afternoon visit Eklingji and Nagda Temples, another set of elaborate temples near the city. Overnight in Udaipur.
In the morning, drive towards Udaipur airport to board connecting flight for Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai, check into hotel.
